Introducing Allan Lowe

We are delighted to welcome Allan Lowe CMIOSH to Scotts of Thrapston and Scotts Timber Engineering.

Allan joins us as Head of Health and Safety. An experienced and qualified Health, Safety and Environmental Practitioner, he has significant experience in both single site and multi-site operations.

As he looks to build on the safety of our operational and manufacturing systems and processes, Allan will also be identifying training needs as required across the company’s two sites – three if you consider that both our building plant and one of our truss factories are both based on the same site at Thrapston in the East Midlands, with the third (truss) factory in Redditch, West Midlands.

Allan’s first impressions of Scotts? “My first impressions of the manufacturing operation are very positive; I’m also looking forward to getting out to some of the sites where we have our equestrian team working on installations.”

As a Chartered Member of IoSH and with a Diploma in Occupational Health, Allan also brings with him working knowledge and experience of working with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 standards as well as maintaining integrated risk management systems.

Allan, who lives in Rushden, only a few miles from Head Office, is an avid Formula One fan and follows the Red Bull team.
