Roof Trusses Site Pack
Scotts Timber Engineering provides a site pack for every roof truss order. The pack comprises all the information each site will need to approve, safely unload, store and install their trusses. This will include:
- Key contact details for design & estimating, call offs and delivery.
- Details of our call off and delivery procedures so site teams know what to expect.
- Method statements for unloading.
- Site storage and handling information.
- Technical details including bracing etc.
- Certification & Policies.
- A full set of designs.
While all site specific information is relevant only to your site, we also include the most up to date industry-wide advice and guidance from the Trussed Rafter Association as well as metalwork details as supplied by Cullens.

Call off and Delivery Procedures
Call-offs can be sent via email to calloffs@scottste.co.uk
Please advise if the delivery is scheduled for crane offload.
We need to know of any vehicle restrictions on site in advance, please confirm If you can accept both Artic and Rigid lorries on site. Trusses will not come pre-slung as standard unless agreed at order stage. Please contact us if this is required.
Please note order value allows for call offs to be delivered as full loads transported in a reasonable number of plots at one time.
The planning team will be in contact up to 4 weeks prior to scheduled delivery date for confirmation of delivery which cannot be changed following confirmation without the acceptance of the planning team. Any requests to alter a delivery date following confirmation must be given in writing at least 2 weeks prior to scheduled delivery date. The Company reserve the right to levy a charge should anything fall outside of this scope. Please also be aware that our drivers are only there to deliver goods and should not leave their cab to help unload the vehicle in anyway apart from cutting banding, off load should be organised by yourselves prior to delivery to ensure the safety of our drivers.
Please ensure delivered tickets are checked against goods at point of delivery and any missing or damaged items are reported immediately. Items not reported in a reasonable time will chargeable, please see our terms and conditions for further information.
