Long Nuke Sports and Community Pavillion
Long Nuke Sports and Community Pavilion is a community project by Keon Homes, alongside a new housing scheme, near Senneleys Park, Birmingham.
Although the geometry of the roof is simple the design becomes more complex as there are additional loads from PV array and fall arrest system. MVHR units and ducting are housed within the trusses which we have had to design to suit.
The pavilion serves as both a sports changing facility and a community space and will support the six upgraded sports pitches (three senior and three junior) that were recently completed in the park.
