Impact of Scheduler Role Evolution

Last month we told you how Kelsey Worsdell’s Scheduler role has evolved significantly and about her formal promotion to her position as Operations & Logistics Manager – Timber Engineering

As we said at the time, this simply catches up with the reality of what Kelsey is already delivering, over and above the basic scheduling role.

Having joined the business at the beginning of 2024, as our new scheduler, very quickly, Kelsey redesigned our whole call-off and scheduling process to revolutionise the service we are able to offer.

Key to the success of her redevelopment of our scheduling operation is the way Kelsey has engaged – both within our business and with the sites we deliver to. So as she transformed our processes, other teams within the business, as well as the sites we deliver to, understood what would change, what was required, and what would be delivered.

When we ramped up our timber frame manufacturing operation, Kelsey took it in her stride and developed our systems to accommodate the more complex delivery requirements without having to reinvent the wheel. She acts as the linchpin between timber frame designers, production, onsite installers and sites themselves.

The confidence and work ethic she brings to the role is much appreciated by her colleagues and our customers alike!
