Scotts Timber Engineering’s Ethan Johnston stars in FA Cup Win
We’re very proud of Ethan Johnston, from our business development team, who was Wellingborough Town’s star as the club made it into the first qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 2-0 win at Lincoln United on Saturday.
Performance is all, and Ethan scored both goals – with two fine finishes to maintain the club’s great start to the season that has seen them win five out of five in league and cup.
Wellingborough Town’s Assistant Manager Jake Cayton was delighted the striker was able to have such a positive impact, scoring both goals, one at 33 minutes, the other at 65 minutes: “Ethan got his chance on Saturday, probably had two opportunities and scored two, which is brilliant”.
The next match kicks off at home at 3pm on Saturday 5th September against Kettering Town.
