A party wall panel is a pre-assembled structural panel used as a separating wall between two residential buildings. The panel is clad on both sides.
A gable wall panel is clad on one side providing an alternative to the inner leaf of an exterior masonry wall at the gable end of a building. Gable wall spandrel panels must resist wind loads and any loads imposed by the outer layers of cladding.
Both types of panel are designed and tested to comply with structural, thermal and fire resistance performance standards and current building standards and regulations.
Spandrel panels are easy to install, removing the need for masonry walls in the roof space. No need for bricklayers to return to site to build up walls after the roof is erected, and a reduced need for scaffolding, all of which saves money.
