Designer Dean Brings Extensive Company Knowledge to Manager Role

Dean, who has been with the company for eight years, is looking forward to his new role and maintaining his work as a roof truss and metal web joist designer.

He said: “When I started in 2013 it was very much the early days for the professional service we were offering. Since we began we have had to work hard to build our order book, but we have been successful and I am proud to say we are in a strong position.

“We can now count major housebuilders such as Cala Homes, Bellway and Persimmon Homes as our customers, as well as small to medium enterprises and individuals who are looking for a bespoke service.

“We enjoy the challenges and are happy to take on unusual projects.”

Dean, 31, from Solihull, added: “I have learned a lot working at Scotts Timber Engineering, not just the timber engineering, but how to evolve a business.

“Our motto is finding solutions and delivering results – and I think that just about sums it all up. I hope that having been here from the beginning I bring an in-depth understanding of the business to the role.”

Kevin Lester, Director, welcomed Dean’s promotion.

“Since Dean joined us as a designer he has helped build the Scotts Timber Engineering portfolio and fully understands the business,” he said.
